UCB Cage Match Tournament Thursday 11pm!
Almost a year ago, a group of nobodies stepped on the stage of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre to begin the 2008 season of Cage Match: The World’s Most Dangerous Improv Show. Two decisive wins and one narrow defeat earned them a place in the end of season tournament. For almost an entire year, they waited in the mountains, living a meditation & training montage. Tomorrow night, the overweight yet adorable Fat Penguin will return to challenge The Stepfathers.
Rumor has it that Bobby Moynihan, formerly of The Stepfathers, and recently of Saturday Night Live, will be performing with his old team. So I hope you understand when we say it is impossible to convey how important it is that you be there.
